Also saw The Kooks, Shaa’ir and Func, Tony Allen & Hamdan Al Abri at Chill Out festival. Good times yo.

Ah, back in the UAE (and on tumblr)! College break. It’s good to be back, right in time for Comic Con!

Back in the UAE

I’ve only got a week here, why the hell am I here for such a short time? The answer’s simple enough.

That’s pretty much the only reason I’m here. I’ve got to everything and anything possible in these seven days, time to rock and roll.

Flight to Dubai. Almost there.

Now my feet won’t touch the ground… well, not for another four hours. :)

Packing’s done. Got almost everything I planned to get. Now, to sit here for five hours before my cab arrives. Five forty-five AM cannot come faster.

The Dubai FountainI can’t believe I actually forgot about all these places, can’t wait to get back!

The next two weeks are gonna be hell, but it’s coming with a huge pay-off. No I’m not talking about the Dubai Food Festival (what even?), its the day I finally fly back home home for my semester break. Woo!

This was at Potbelly. Potbelly was the greatest. I miss Potbelly.

It’s pretty weird living in Bangalore. There’s a huge difference between the lifestyles of the people here and back in Dubai. And bigger is the difference between the meaning of freedom in both places. It’s like a whole new definition outside the Arab Emirates. I’m finding it terribly easy to adapt to this new lifestyle, that’s something I’d never expected.
